Please see attached photos of my recently restored 1975 Suzuki GT550 Triple 2-Stroke. I only just got the opportunity to “make smoke” this past weekend, after nearly 13-months of rubbing and lots of TLC every where this piece needed it. And it needed it everywhere, believe me..!!
I have several more high-quality photos of this finished-hardware. Hardware, with an odometer showing just over 5,120 miles. Of course, this thing was less than pretty when I obtained it over a year ago………but it had potential, and no serious damage, wear or problems beyond mainly the cosmetic, maintenance items and general good ole’ fashioned elbow grease wouldn’t take care of.

I’d be happy to forward more detailed photos if you desire some examples of fresh Japanese hardware of significant rarity and quality. Significant rarity and quality due in large part…………because this piece is fitted with the absolute highest-quality, uniquely engineered, superbly crafted, well-designed, well-executed expansion chamber exhaust system available anywhere on planet earth. My Higgspeed chamber system delivers a unique sound at all revs that is unequaled by any other expansion chamber system. The quality, the uniqueness, the utter beauty of the music this system makes at the turn of the key – cannot be adequately described or compared. It’s simply not possible. One has to experience Higgspeed quality and uniqueness first-hand, up-close and personal to fully appreciate the symphony. I’ve heard dozens of uTube videos, all attempting to capture and duplicate the resonance for all to hear. However without a single example or exception, none can capture the two-stroke-tones of the Higgspeed system. Simply put, the video’s, sound tracks all fall well short of duplicating the vastly superior quality of a “being there experience”. Believe me, I know, and I am offering this testimony as one very, very happy customer who offers his whole-hearted, sincere recommendation and indeed endorsement for the Higgspeed exhaust system.

More photos to come David. Some close-ups of your art work, your invention if you will, are to follow and to serve as proof of another very happy customer that speaks from practical experience. Even if your exhaust system were twice the price, I would rush to make the purchase. I say that with two (2) qualifiers; (1) assuming I had the money at-hand, I’d make an immediate purchase, and/or would save as a priority until I had the money needed for the purchase and, (2) I can make this statement with all due sincerity and intent – after witnessing first-hand the superior quality of product and tonal quality of this system. If there were some way to convey the rarity, the fantastic sound quality, well, doing so would undoubtedly lead to more sales.

That said David………….one more point that is of some considerable importance; the power increase, the felt horsepower gain, the raw but even, smooth and unfettered torque and felt-power gains, are measurable and of considerable improvement over the stock, heavy exhaust system of the Suzuki GT550 and I am sure the GT380 and GT750 class bikes as well I’m sure. Simply put David, I immediately noticed, in conjunction with a musical-magic, a noticeable performance gain which can be directly attributed to the installation to your expansion chamber system. We are talking serious performance gains here……………..”THE HIGGSPEED CHHAMBER SYSTEM WHEN INSTALLED - YEILDS SERIOUS HORSEPOWER IMPROVEMENTS OVER THE STOCK EXHAUST FROM THE MANUFACTURE”.

With all that said, I’m sure glad I chose to speak to you before I ran off the deep end and chose the brand-X exhaust, I hope my testimony will help others who are on the fence, and unsure of the best system to select for their money. I’d say to these folks……..”save up a few more coins, wait a while if you have to. But by all means, give HIGGSPEED a good, thorough look and serious consideration prior to selecting any expansion chamber system for their 2-stroke motorcycle. It will be the best decision you’ll have made in the performance/appearance-improvement phase of your motorcycle ownership experience”.

I've got to tell you, that I simply cannot believe how FAST you got these museum-quality chambers from your site to my front door..!!!

I actually heard the door bell ring like no more than 24 hours after I sent my email requesting details of the delivery of this product. I mean, it was so quick that I was wondering if you had those pipes pre-positioned here in the States, just waiting for me to place the final order. Heck David, I've placed orders for goods 5-states away and have waited longer for their eventual arrival than I have in your case, where your pipes had to cross a huge pond to arrive at some custom's warehouse only to be delayed for yet more drawn out days upon days awaiting some bureaucrat's approval. Bottom line David, it's not your fantastic customer-service, your superb communications with your customer base, your obvious dedication to over-the-top world-class quality............no, it's all that and more, like your ability to transcend time and space and get your product over her without haste and at near lightening speed - Higgspeed to be more specific..!!!

Now, in the interest of your time, I'll not tie up any more of your time, but to say this; I was home when your product arrived, a matter of consequence, not by chance or plan, all the same when the package arrived at my front door, I was delighted, excited and after inspection, overwhelmed at the sheer quality and attention to tolerance and detail that escapes the vast majority of your competitors'. Simply put, your product is superior in all aspects to that of your competition here and abroad. I know this to be true, as I've seen all the others product, and can personally attest to the obvious dedication to your craft and avocation.

The chambers arrived safely, they are sensational. I had no trouble fitting them to the bike, however i did have to buy some shorter bolts as the standard header bolts are a bit to long for the flanges on your pipes, but that was not an issue.

They sound great, and look great. Do you have any jetting recommendations for your chambers? As a starting point?

The Higgspeed expansion chambers are made entirely from stainless steel, so no rust and no need to rechrome, just polish and ride!!
Before you all pipe up (pardon the pun ) 'isnt stainless heavy??' they are laser cut from 0.9 mm sheet and are 1/3 lighter than standard. This means that all 3 including the baffles weigh the same as one standard pipe. The baffles are removable (stainless grubscrew underneath) and repackable. The front pipes are cnc mandrel bent, which means no wrinkles or creases. The front flanges bolt to the head, then the pipes just push on, with 2 springs to retain them. They are individually custom built on a bike to ensure a perfect fit. Lead time is about 4-6 weeks per set.
Performance wise, they make a big improvement over standard, but i cannot quote figures as no 2 bikes are the same,well they are 30 years old!! As with all 2 strokes each bike must be jetted to suit, but i can give you ball park settings to start from. These are a limited production run made from a genuine enthusiasm for the bikes

Hi David ........ just writing to let you know that the chambers are fabulous, I'm very pleased with them aesthetically, and with the finish and performance. The H2B is now very strong, it goes like 'stink' and the chambers sound just perfect IMHO. Also, the fit was just absolutely perfect to the mm. I would happily recommend your pipes to anyone if they wanted an opinion.

BTW, just in case you may be interested, I ended up using K&N pod air filters, 110 mains, a 42.5 pilot and centre clip on the needles ....... running 95 RON petrol with Motul 710 2 stroke oil and a fresh Wossner 2nd OS top end.

Well, on opening the box it was obvious they look good, after fitting and swinging on the kick start it was undeniable they sound good and after a brief half hour ride it's indisputable they feeeeeeeeeel good!!. A quick rush hour spin in between the rain showers and it was amazing the difference these pipes have made. Considering I've geared it down to avoid the Micron flat spot I used sixth gear more times in that half hour than in the past six months!. I think a return to standard gearing is in order, my left foot couldn't keep up . Just a little fluffle at 4000 revs like the carbs are scratching their heads making their minds up what to do and then it's off like a roman candle!. Heh!!. No flatspot, no nowt. Just zings right round the dial. . The noise needs no description, just lots of appreciative nods of respect from dewey eyed middle aged blokes in Tranny vans and such. . ( which is me when I'm not on bike!). Keep up the good work my good man.

The pipes I ordered from you arrived last Monday (8 weeks like you said).
the box was a bit beat up, so I opened it quickly to find one killer set of
pipes
for my 1974 Kawasaki S-3. Today I actually has some spare time, so I
installed the pipes... They were very easy to install and look great.

I'll enclose 2 pictures. #1 is the before and #2 is the finished product.

They look and sound great. Thanks for helping me with this bike...
